Dani, Chris and Rio - Family Portrait

Last year, during the Christmas holidays, I donated a portrait session to the Saturday Dog Club silent auction at their Holiday Event at the One Hotel in West Hollywood. After a bit of back and forth, I finally got our winners in the studio for their session.

This is Dani & Chris and their adorable Goldendoodle, Rio.

They asked if I could swap background for the shoot, photographing Rio first on the blue background and then photographing their family portrait on the white background. It was an unseasonably humid day, and we kept having to take breaks so no one was “glistening” with sweat in the small space I use to shoot. But after an hour, we had some good pics.

Rio sat for his portraits like a pro, and I’m sure he loved all the treats he got during the shoot. Dani and Chris were lovely to work with as well.
